Investigation of Solid Deposit Inside L-Type Urea Injector and NOx Conversion in a Heavy-Duty Diesel Engine

The heavy-duty diesel engine is used in the main transportation vehicles Korea to deliver products from various companies; however, engines produce enormous quantities of nitrogen oxide (NOx), which harms human health. selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system a common solution reduce NOx emissions engines; more than can be dealt with using an SCR and thus require investigations into effective solutions. This study investigated 12,000 cc Hyundai 1000 rpm operation 1330 ppm emission. ammonia generation process was assessed by amount produced; gas identified 19 sensors on catalyst surface; effectiveness mixing between determined conversion values analyzer. Comparison experiment simulation results shows elucidates temperature for vaporization saturation quantity, distribution, system. also provide chemical reaction numerical equation relevant distribution.
